GRACE (Gainesville Regional Alachua County Empowerment) Marketplace is now supporting a fully operational kitchen serving three balanced meals a day to its residents and anyone in need of a meal. No one requesting food is turned away.
Residents provide voluntary assistance in the kitchen, and those interested in pursuing restaurant/food service employment are enrolled in its culinary training program.
The staff and residents at GRACE are thankful for your continued support of its program. Volunteers from our Parish and the community prepare and serve as many as 200 meals every Monday. Your generous donations allow us to provide nothing less than you would serve your family at home. GRACE is counting on our continued support.
First, please volunteer via the St. Augustine Service Ministry.

If you want to volunteer outside of St. Augustine's, Cori Krayer, GRACE’s volunteer coordinator, has instituted a volunteer registration and signup program on their website.
For more information or for any issues signing up please contact Cori at volunteer@gracemarketplace.org or by phone at 352-792-0800 x 104.
Everyone is welcome to participate in this opportunity to meet a significant need to feed the homeless in our community. Food preparation begins around 2 and food serving runs from 5:30 to 6:30. Please arrive a few minutes before the serving time.
GRACE is also requesting additional support for its Saturday lunch and dinner meals. Saturday lunch preparation begins at 10 and ends at 1pm. Dinner preparation and service is from 3 to 6pm.
GRACE staff and residents express their thanks to those who implemented the meal program for many months before GRACE’s kitchen was operational.
Our service mission is now evolving into partnership with religious, civic and community groups to address the needs of the homeless and provide homes for those in need.
We love Our Lord as He loves us when we love our neighbor as He loves us in our gifts of compassion and kindness. -Matthew 25:40.
