The Upper Room:

Grad Students and Young Professionals

(Ages 21-39)

"They went up to the upper room, where they were staying, Peter and John and James and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot and Judas the son of James. All these with one accord devoted themselves to prayer, together with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers." (Acts 1:13-14)

The Upper Room is a community of young professionals and graduate students in the Gainesville Area cultivating friendship in Christ.

We do a lot!

• Nightfever happens on Fridays about three times a semester
  • A breathtaking experience of evangelization.
  • Hundreds of people step into church for the first time.

• Sunday Coffee and Doughnuts
  • Served after the morning Sunday masses as a service to the parish.
  • Happens about once a month.
  • Brings people together who otherwise might not meet.
  • Helps parishioners and guests find out needed information.

  • We meet in Hurley Hall the first Friday of each month after the 5:30 mass.
