Every community is made up of members. There are three essentials to being a member of a community:
1) Belonging to the community
2) Participating in the life of the community
3) Contributing to the life of the community
Belong to the community
Usually, you belong to a parish just by living in its territory. However, St. Augustine has no territory associated with it; so it is important that you register with us. Registration enables parishioners to prove their parish membership for sacramental preparation and also helps the parish to serve the community in many ways, such as providing them records of their contributions for their tax deductions.
College students are encouraged to register. Registration is free. The registration form can be found below.
Participating in Parish Life
The life of our parish is centered on the sacraments. Therefore, the minimal participation in the life of the parish is joining the assembly and fulfilling one's Sunday obligation to attend Mass. But don't stop there! Become involved with a ministry and take part in our parish events.
Contribute to Parish Life
Becoming involved is a great way to give your time and talent, but we also must make monetary contributions to sustain our parish and fulfill our mission. When you have registered, please also sign up for electronic giving on our donations page.
