Hello friends,
We know that a lot of you have questions regarding how parking works at St. Augustine's now that the developer has closed the pay gates again. Hopefully, this video will help you understand the process. A few quick pointers:
- Monday-Friday parking for daily Mass, confession, appointments or events: Please note that there is no time limit on these vouchers, but we only have 50 spaces allotted to us, so please do not park in the garage for anything not related to St. Augustine's/Catholic Gators unless you intend to pay.
- Saturday Vigil / Sunday Masses: The vouchers are good for 2 hours; you'll be asked to pay the balance if you stay longer than 2 hours (say for example, if you were to go out to dinner after Mass). After each Mass, we hope to have volunteers to use the "garage clicker" to open the gate to speed up the process of exiting. Please let us know if you'd like to volunteer. Even if there are no "gate clickers" at your Mass, the vouchers will always be available near the doors as you exit.
- We do not have permission to park in the garage Saturday during the day, even for our official events (that includes workdays, weddings, funerals, and Catholic Gators programming). Please do not park in the garage Saturday daytime unless you intend to pay. There is plenty of street parking available near us on Saturdays, and most parking restrictions are lifted on the weekends.
Thanks for working with us as we navigate this change!
