Joseph West

I was raised as a Catholic in Birmingham, Alabama. During my senior year of college, after many years of running away from the faith, I experienced the grace of conversion and decided to spend the rest of my life serving God and his Church! I have a great interest in the academic side of the Catholic faith, and spent two years teaching Catholic Theology at Saint Francis Catholic Academy. I am also currently working on my Masters degree in Catholic Theology, and I am happy to bring my knowledge and heart for the faith into service here at Catholic Gators! I recently married my best friend, Lauren, and we live in Gainesville together with our adorable and annoying dog, Blue. You can find me in Hurley, studying at local coffee shops, or at my home brewing beer.
